Every panel of the Tessera is woven from cut leather strips, including the handles, which are braided rather than stitched. The weave gives the bag its structure and its give at once, holding an open square shape while flexing around whatever it carries. Unlined and unfastened, it is built for volume: a market, a weekend, a change of clothes. The surface softens with handling, and the weave settles rather than loosens.
